In 1990, Tom Roll and Lon Bruso started Steritec Products Inc. with the vision of advancing the sterilization field with innovative and highly effective sterility assurance products. The company specializes in thermographic ink technology and has invented whole product categories such as disposable Bowie-Dick test packs and disposable Biological test packs. The latest innovation is a monitor to measure the cleaning efficiency of washer disinfectors. Steritec’s Purple-to-Green ink technology has improved the sterilization process. This proprietary ink helps users detect problems in the sterilization process before catastrophic failures occur.
Located in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Steritec enjoys a perfect dry climate especially suitable for manufacture of sensitive inks. Today, Steritec manufactures over 300 unique products sold into 46 countries on five continents. We pride ourselves on listening and responding to the needs of our customers. Our Philosophy…
One out of every 20 patients in the United States experiences a hospital-acquired infection each year. That translates to two million people. 90,000 of them will die. (That’s more than auto accidents and homicides combined). We believe our technology and products help prevent infections by testing the effectiveness of both the cleaning and sterilizing processes. This results in higher sterility assurance levels on items processed by departments that do cleaning and sterilization of reusable medical products.
